While visiting my family at the French Riviera, there was a photo exhibition around the corner presenting the early works of Willy Maywald, a German photographer from the forties to the eighties on. He is best known for his fashion photography, with clients like Vogue, Vanity Fair and Christian Dior. In this exhibition, the subject was the environment of Cagnes-sur-Mer, where the exhibition was held and where Maywald shot guite some beautiful pictures. These frames had different subjects like empty streets, nature, people in their natural habitat and his personal friends, lovers and artists at work.
