//WEEKLY ART REPORT
This week we’d like to introduce you to Marina Pinsky. Marina was born in Moscow but enjoyed her education in America. Within her photo works she plays with the concept of space and time, manipulating and layering shots to fill the frame with voluminous imagery. In her process, she uses a combination of digital and analog techniques to compose an image. At first glance her photographs appear to be staged scenes, but close inspection reveals that the artist has edited them to create compositions that move between virtual and physical worlds. Within her works she combines various images to create visual depth, movement and confusion. With a healthy load of humor she creates images that tickle our view on photography.
