Furniture is key in a home, I adore vintage furniture and am always in search for the best pieces.Unfortunately design furniture of the 50's 60s and 70s can be expensive, so I look at the pictures and dream away. One of my favorites is French designer Pierre Paulin, his work is very refined though the materials are rough. He uses leather, metal and wool, the shapes Paulin used are very recognizable. What makes his designs so distinctive is their striking sculptural shape, which earned Paulin many prizes worldwide. His work remains timeless and progressive even today.
