//ISABELLA STAHL

The beauty of Swedish photographer Isabella Stahl’s landscapes are finely observed, subtle and atmospheric as she captures moments of hope, love, anxiety and lost dreams. From afternoon sunlight beaming through treetops to everyday fog on the surface of a meadow and white horses running through nature. Stahl captures moments of the sublime nature. Something almost magical is at play in her snapshots, she has an eye for the divine of nature. Stahl is representing the landscapes themselves as interesting and fantastical in their most natural sense. She briefly describes this lyrical series of photographs as “the story of the place I left behind”. The images looks like magical places, immersed in the beautiful environment, but wrapped in a melancholic aura. Stahl is passionate about exploring the world through her lens, where fiction meets reality.
