David Godlis, a legendary punk photographer who photographed many many icons in the seventies. It's such a pleasure to look at his black and white pictures. Portraits of Patti Smith, the Ramones, Blondi, Joan Jet, David Bowie, the Talking Heads behind the scenes, in the studio or in CBGB. This man was the house photographer at CBGB, how amazing this have must been. Meeting all these great artists and photographing them. Based in New York he also did a lot of street photography, I love the way the captures moments and the ambient light of the famed night club CBGB.
