Dapper Dan from Harlem, New York, responsible for defining an era in hip hop. From 1982 until it closed in 1992, Dapper Dan's Boutique on 125th street in Harlem made and sold clothing from its own factory, workers re-appropriate and remix the luxurious designs of European houses. Dapper Dan is also called the king of hip-hop fashion, with his approach to use logo fabric of luxury brands and turning it into the most extraordinary silhouettes, he really positioned his brand into the hip hop world. Dressing all the favorite rappers, athletes and drug dealers of that time, made that everybody wanted a personalised Dapper Dan suit.
