//WEEKLY ART REPORT

Ingrid Olson was born in 1987 in Denver, Colorado. She currently lives and works in Chicago, Illinois. Ingrid works with layered color photographs reusing en rearranging her photographs she creates, amongst other collage works. Most of Olson’s images involve self-portraiture, but her face is never seen and her body appears only in fragments, blurred and distorted, between a dazzling set of props. But, even when the figure isn’t lost in a maze of reflections, Olson abstracts it further, by setting her photographs into mats printed with another photograph, or obscuring them behind scraps of other images in Plexiglas boxes.
