//WEDNESDAY WONDERINGS

Every now and then you encounter something that keeps on fascinating you no matter how often you've seen it. It’s been years since I first saw the lightboxes of Daniele Buetti but the magic never wears off of these pieces of art. Buetti, a multimedia artist from Switzerland, perforated hundreds of tiny little holes in his photographs and placed them on light boxes. When the light shines through the image, the holes light up and give it a truly surreal look. Especially the series called ‘Hands’ is one I admire for the combination of the realness of the hands and the impossibility of the star-like lights they’re holding.
