The most romantic Shakespear play translated to a magical movie. Set in a modern-day city of Verona Beach in 1996, although it is set in modern times, it is still the same timeless story of the "star crossed lovers". Played by Leonardo Dicaprio and beautiful Clare Danes. 

Baz Luhrmann fantastic fashion and costumes are the storytelling tools that made me fall in love with this movie instantly. The Montagues and Capulets family were dressed in Prada and D&G, what more can a girl ask for? The Montagues in colorfulunbuttoned Hawaiian shirts, baggy workwear-inspired pants and shorts, combat boots or Chuck Taylors. The Capulets favor mostly black garments with streamlined silhouettes, with gun holsters as high fashion accessories, and wear their shirts tucked in to show off their bold belt buckles.

The hyper-colorful world created by Luhrmann took everybody's breath away, glitterbomb, fury and disco going trough the nineties like a neon shockwave.
