When in doubt what to wear I nearly always choose from my collection of breton shirts.

I simply love a good stripe, it's classic, chic but casual and the combinations are endless.

We owe this piece of fashion to the one and only miss Coco Chanel who introduced the design to the fashion world after a visit to the French coast where she was inspired by sailors. Icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Picasso, Audrey Hepburn, James Dean, Jean Seberg and Brigitte Bardot made the shirt popular. Still many designers are inspired by it until today especially Jean Paul Gaultier is well known for his striped shirts. And not unimportant, it's a friendly purchase for the wallet.
