I bumped into the pictures of Jonathan Mehring via skateboarding. "Skate the world" is now to be seen and sponsored by National Geographic and featuring Tony Hawk - quite some big names. The focus lies on the photography of skateboarding all over the world, a nice perspective I must say. 

 Besides the skateboard photography, Mehring is a professional in observation - people, places, cultures, countries, atmospheres. His documentary photography is on point and needs a focus on its own.
