Not only is the Cruise 2018 collection by Gucci a treat for the eyes, the campaign shows us exactly how I think we have to approach fashion these days: Inspiring real people with personality, from all different places and ages. 

It is no surprise that 'The man who shot the seventies' photographer Mick Rock is approached for this campaign. Rock is known for his celebrity pictures from mostly musicians in the seventies such as Queen, Bowie and Blondie. For Gucci, he went on the streets of Rome to scout real people and photographed them in their own houses and/or gardens. The interiors almost seem to be the inspiration of the fashion collection, or the other way around - that's how perfect it fits. More colour! More prints! More personality! Gucci we love you!
