Since stumbling on the youth hostel designed by Vincent van Duysen in Antwerp last week I have been absolutely obsessed with his oeuvre, especially since I have finally found a new apartment (yay!) and have been consumed with thoughts on how to decorate it. Despite Van Duysen’s minimalist approach, his interiors still exude a certain sense of warmth, letting the natural materials speak for themselves. It is an aesthetic that I also want in my new place, getting rid of unnecessary clutter and achieving modern simplicity in its purest form.
